Questo è un modulo Bluetooth 4.0 (Low Energy) conforme agli standard ISM 2.4 GHz, con modalità di funzionamento master/slave e trasmissione dati trasparente, basato sul chip Texas Instruments CC2541 con 256K di memoria Flash e 8K di RAM.
Può essere controllato tramite semplici comandi AT (via UART) o programmato con applicazioni personalizzate. Ideale per l'uso in progetti dove è necessaria una connessione Bluetooth, come tra microcontrollore e PC. L'alimentazione varia tra 2V e 3.6Vdc.
